We will be exhibiting at the “Monster Exhibition 2025 ” (Saturday, October 11, 2025 – Wednesday, October 15, 2025) to be held at Hikarie 8/Court Shibuya Tokyo.
I’m truly honored to announce that my work “WATASHI’s Monster” has been selected for Monster Exhibition 2025 – New Kaiju Exhibition at Shibuya Hikarie, Tokyo.
For me, the “monster” symbolizes the fears and struggles hidden deep within myself—the fear of losing words after a sudden brain hemorrhage, the pain of being misunderstood, the anxiety of losing my daily life, and the ultimate fear of losing my very life. Through surgery and rehabilitation, I repeated the cycle of resisting, facing, and accepting. When I miraculously came back to life, I realized the profound importance of loving, trusting, and living as myself.
