About

“I do not paint light. I archive it.”

I do not paint visible objects.

I collect, translate, and archive the primordial light that is omnipresent throughout this world.

In 2020, due to a cerebral hemorrhage of unknown cause, I suddenly lost the ability to speak. The everyday life I had taken for granted vanished in an instant, and I experienced the profound collapse of my world. Amidst major brain surgery and the relentless, violent seizures that followed, hovering repeatedly on the threshold between life and death, drifting in the deep darkness of consciousness, I was enveloped in an absolute “light.”

It was an existence that far transcended the mundane light captured by human vision. To call it “hope” would be too shallow; to define it as “life” too narrow—it was something overwhelmingly vast. This light returned my lost words, bestowed upon me a new dimension of clarity to perceive the world, awakened my will to live, and led me back once more to this reality.

Since that day, having survived the brink of death, my world has been entirely transformed. In the process of recovery, an unshakeable conviction was born within me:

Whether it be people, nature, land, space, time, or memories held within the vacuum—everything that exists in this world is not merely a material contour, but a congregation of light, a congregation of energy.

Strangely, at one point, my hands—which until then had been completely unacquainted with art—began to move naturally. In that exact moment, I was powerfully and intensely driven by a profound, burning passion that transcended words, a realization that I must express this in a visible form.

What I do when I face the canvas, risking my life, is an attempt to visualize the invisible, energetic configurations of light inherent in people, things, places, and moments. The colors and lines that manifest in my works are the traces of vibrations emitted by the subject, the pure trajectory of the resonance of life itself.

A single line is an eternal trajectory of life racing through time.

A single color is the frequency of emotion emitted by an existence at that very moment.

And the void is a sacred space where that light breathes and respires.

My work is neither landscape nor abstraction. It is an invisible “portrait of light” dwelling within the depths of people, land, space, time, and memory. The same light never reappears; the same moment never returns. Because it is a light that can only exist at that single moment within the cosmic chain of cause and effect, no two works will ever be born the same.

I am not creating works of art; I am simply translating the “energy of light” that exists only in that fleeting instant, archiving them as portraits of light.

Throughout a long history, humanity has recorded all manner of civilizations. We have chronicled events in words, preserved thoughts as philosophy, and left culture as physical forms. However, the “pure energy of light” that life itself, or a particular space and time, was unmistakably emitting at that precise moment has yet to be fully archived.

While physical forms eventually weather away and words transform with the eras, the light energy emitted by an existence retains an immutable value that transcends time and space.

“LUMINOUS ARCHIVE” is not the title of a painting series. It is a lifelong project dedicated to leaving for the distant future a record of what kind of light all creation, and humanity itself, radiated while living on this earth in this era.

When standing before a work, what the viewer beholds is not a mere accumulation of paint.

Some will find a profound tranquility within deep silence;

Some will awaken memories slumbering in the depths of their cells;

And others will touch an inexplicable hope or an overwhelming power sleeping within their own depths.

It is not that the artwork is speaking to them; rather, through the refined medium of the work, your own inner light resonates, bringing about a “reunion with your true self.”

Now, my heart overflows with a passionate, fierce prayer that cannot be contained. I want to deliver this light of hope, which rescued me from the bottom of darkness and gave me the strength to live, across borders, languages, and all barriers to the entire world. What I offer, with all my life, is the very medium of light that beautifully reboots you and the life of the entire world.

Because I know the deepest darkness, I believe that I can now radiate the pure light that illuminates the world.

I continue to archive new traces of light energy.
